Como Lake United Church opened our doors to our new space on August 7, 2022, over one year ago!  We look forward to sharing this beautiful space with you through our Sunday Worship services, our Prayer programs, Ministry events and much more!

Ongoing Events

Sunday Worship Service is a special time to gather together, worship and pray together, and celebrate the work our Creator has done in our lives during the week prior. We also love meeting during the week too, to work for and in our community, to welcome neighbours and to support anyone who needs an ear or a place of peace to go to.  Everyone is welcome to join us for our ongoing events! Services

All are welcome to our Sunday Worship services at 10:30 am each week.  Street parking and underground parking off the lane are available.

Prayer Circle & Labyrinth Walk 

Join us Tuesday mornings at 9:30 am for our Prayer Circle time, and a quiet guided and meditative walk around the Labyrinth.  Stay for Tea Tuesdays! 



Knitting & Stitching

Every Second Tuesday at noon. March Dates: 12th and 26th.  Bring your own projects or join some of us in making gifts for our community!


Tea Tuesdays

Join us, Tuesdays at 10:30 am for casual conversation with our congregation, and friends from our community!  We have grown into a support and place of connection for each other!

Embodied Vitality

Embrace vitality in our Creative Movement Class for Seniors.

This movement class offers a unique blend of gentle breathing and movement exercises known as QiGong with creative imagery and interactive games, tailored to meet the diverse needs and abilities of seniors.

Led by Adel Andalibi PhD (ABD), the class emphasize adaptability, ensuring that exercises can be modified to accommodate various body conditions and abilities.

Discover the joy of creative expression as you engage in fluid, flowing movements that promote physical health and mental well-being.

Join us as we cultivate vitality and longevity through a holistic approach to movement and creativity. Reconnect with your body, nurture your spirit, and unleash your creativity in our dynamic and inclusive together time.

In these guided group sessions, we intertwine mindful movement with the power of personal storytelling for profound emotional healing.

Gathered in a circle of support, we learn creative ways to share our stories while holding a body and mind awareness approach.

Through gentle movement meditations and deep listening exercises we honour the wisdom of our bodies as vessels for transformation.

Join us in this sacred space where personal narratives find voice, and healing unfolds through the discipline of embodied contemplation.

RaD(i)ance

Join us for an invigorating journey into vibrant dance and contemplative movement at our upcoming class.

RaD(i)ance offers a unique flow of soulful motion, beat, connection, creativity and centeredness.

Prepare to explore the depths of mindful movement as we blend meditative introspection with dynamic, cheerful, and energetic grounding experiences. Guided by a seasoned international facilitator, Adel Andalibi PhD (ABD), we'll embark on a transformative journey that nurtures both body and spirit.

Whether you're seeking a moment of serene contemplation or a burst of joyful expression, this class welcomes participants of all levels to come together in a supportive and inclusive environment. Discover the power of dance as a pathway to mindfulness and join us for RaD(i)ance at Como Lake United Church.

No prior dance experience is required. Preferably wear clean socks and loose comfortable clothes that allow movement. We will be barefoot or in socks.
